About Sunshine Coast Dreadlocks

Hi, my name is Hayley and I run Sunshine Coast Dreadlocks. I have been a loctician for over 10 years installing and maintaining natural and organic dreadlocks all around the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions.

I only use my crochet hook to maintain and install dreads. I don’t use any glue, chemicals or waxes. My work is 100% natural.

I work on any hair types: afro, european and asian.

Dreadlocks Services on the Sunshine Coast

I only offer fixed prices for dreadlocks services on the Sunshine Coast:

  • Dreadlocks maintenance: $180
  • Starting dreadlocks (above shoulders): $450
  • Starting dreadlocks (below shoulders): $640
  • Starting dreadlocks (half-head, “man bun”, mohawk, top knot): $350
  • Dreadlocks repair: quote on request
  • Dreadlocks removal: quote on request
  • Dreadlocks styling: quote on request
  • Dreadlocks cut: quote on request

Dreadlocks Maintenance on the Sunshine Coast

I only use my crochet hook to maintain dreads. No chemicals, glue or waxes.

I charge $180 for maintenance. This service takes 2 to 4 hours depending on the amount of work needed.

Dreadlocks maintenance includes:

Retightening the re-growth at the roots.
Crocheting loose hair in the dread using my crochet hook.
Retightening split ends if needed.

 

Dreads installation on the Sunshine Coast

I will create new, 100% natural and organic dreads using my crochet hook.

I take between 5 to 12+ hours to start dreads depending on the length and the size of your dreadlocks.

All your hair needs to be at least 15cm long to start dreads. Keep in mind that the shorter your hair, the more the new dreads will stick up.

Starting dreadlocks above shoulders: $450
Starting dreadlocks below shoulders: $640
Starting dreadlocks half-head (“man bun”, Mohawk, top knot): $350
